Clap Push Up
Instructions
- Place your hands on the floor shoulder-width apart, feet slightly apart, and keep your body forming a straight line from head to heels.
- Then, bend your elbows bringing your chest towards the ground.
- Lower yourself until your elbows form an angle of approximately 90° and push the ground with force and speed, explosively.
- Generate enough momentum for your hands to leave the ground, and while in the air, quickly clap your hands.
- Return the hands to the ground with control and in a synchronized manner, cushion the impact with semi-flexed arms, and repeat.
Tips
- Keep the torso upright at all times.
- Keep your abdomen contracted.
- Focus on the quality of movement and explosiveness.
